Good Morning Everyone!!
George - Hit 'em straight!!
I would have thought #2 would have had commas:
2. Rumor has it that nobody is better, than George, with the foot wedge.
But I guess I would have been incorrect.
Ralph - if you keep talking smack about the Dodgers, I will personally put a Foot Wedge in your bag!!
Joe - Nice!!!!
I prefer #1 , stylistically.
My 27 years of English tutoring entitle me to speak on this one. Either is acceptable, but I prefer the first one. No commas, Joe.
Finally get to use my skills!![]()

Thanks, guys.
How about another one:
1. Do you know if you should be there today by 6:15?
2. Do you know if you should be there by 6:15 today?
Really, either one is okay.
I would probably go with #1 to follow the "rule" of establishing the most important information first (day is usually more important than time in setting up appointments, if you see what I mean).
Grammar is the difference between knowing your crap, and knowing you're crap.
Punctuation too.
