Heard this while I was watching the game. Definitely need another bullpen arm with Miller being done for the year, and it doesn't seem like they gave up much for him. I'll take it.

Kenny Williams going after an African American toolsy but raw player.....who would have ever thought it. They can pair him with Keenyn Walker, Courtney Hawkins, Jared Mitchell, and the JUCO guy they drafted this year.

Can't expect much more than an upside guy for a 36 year old, expensive reliever. Let the tear down begin.

Great move by the Red Sox. I have always liked Thornton and he will be a good lefty replacement for Miller. Seems like Jacobs has some power potential, but is still a couple years away at least...and being a below average fielder and swings and misses at a lot of pitches, he might have never made it to Fenway. Can't rely on only being able to hit the fastball, big league pitchers will definitely exploit that.

I dont understand holding onto Sale. By the time the White Sox have all the pieces in place, Sale is going to be too expensive.
I would love to see a trade like this were the White Sox revisit the White Flag Trade of 97 in trade Beckham, Sale, Rios, Ramirez, and Crain all to one team like the Cardinals or Mariners for Oscar Tavaras, Micheal Wacha, Kolton Wong,Carlos Martinez, and Matt Adams just to discuss it 5 years from now.
