IMO, Braun is now the worst abuser of our era when it comes to PED's. Not only did he lie after being caught the first time, he then goes out to this clinic in Miami to use PED's again. This guy is the baseball version of bottom feeding scum. I would be fine with a multi-year ban--the audacity of this clown is just hilarious.

Well, I can only give him moderate credit for accepting the suspension without an appeal.

This still doesn't change anything from the first

This still doesn't change anything from the first go-round, in that Braun used the system to escape any punishment. Whatever you feel about the collector, what he did was the reason Braun wasn't punished the first time.

NONE of this changes the fact that if MLB hadn't leaked his name the first time, you'd just be hearing about this whole thing along with Colon, Cruz and the others.

Braun wasn't given fair treatment the first time, so it was a karmic wash when the arbitraitor came down on his side and screwed MLB. He got what was coming to him for this second violation, which was more of a karmic back-hand.

If I ever said he didn't use (which I don't think I did) I was wrong; I have always focused on the process and the way everything was handled and "proven".

Credit? He took a deal and basically screwed everyone else in the process.

Probably sang like a bird to Selig. Guessing he will be among the most hated men in baseball very soon.

What do you mean? Are you saying that his exoneration for the original positive test was legit?

See below; I hit submit too quick on my phone. But yes, it was "legit" in that there was nothing legit from any party that first go-round and it was a total CF.

They probably had some seriou evidence on him to just completely change his tune and admit it.

Hate to say it but I feel the same way. IMO this was about saving himself, likely at the cost of the rest of them.

The fact that people are saying he owned up to this is absurd. He was caught, saw no way out, and claimed to make "mistakes". Bull$hit. He is a cheater and liar and should have no place in baseball. Period.

Good I hate that guy. Last year he acted like he was a king when he got off on a technicality.
I would also assume he was not the only Brewer doing it.

Where's the apology? I'm not seeing it.
It's at the end of his statement today:
"Finally, I wish to apologize to anyone I may have disappointed – all of the baseball fans especially those in Milwaukee, the great Brewers organization, and my teammates."

I was a big fan of Braun and he was one of the very few that i put over $1000 into and sold it ALL the first go around and when he was found not guilty last year i still didn't regret selling it all but wondered if i should have held. Not any more. Sorry for the rant but what Braun said about all this is disgusting.

As I have acknowledged in the past, I am not perfect. I realize now that I have made some mistakes. I am willing to accept the consequences of those actions.

Yeah not perfect at all ya *****. What a frackin arrogant little XXXXX.

I am glad at least he is fine with it.
