I just figured he used anyway so this isn't really a big deal to me, just took a little while longer to catch up with him.

This is pretty much the way I feel about the situation in general anymore.

I don't understand why he even used them in the first place. The guy put up huge numbers off of the PEDs last season, can't see why he'd even think this was worth it now.

Credit? He took a deal and basically screwed everyone else in the process.

Probably sang like a bird to Selig. Guessing he will be among the most hated men in baseball very soon.

Why would he be hated more? People say he was already hated; talking about a bunch of cheaters that the rest of the league should hate too shouldn't change anything.

It's just like that 1st round NFL rookie that signs a deal early that is way too low.

My guess is that the players union is not happy about him talking a deal in front of everyone and not following the process. Funny how that worked out, bucking the process.

Good I hate that guy. Last year he acted like he was a king when he got off on a technicality.
I would also assume he was not the only Brewer doing it.

I would doubt there's a single clean clubhouse in baseball.

Regardless of his exoneration last year, this year and his admission of guilt will have everyone believing he was guilty then to (as he most likely was). It is unfortunate but this suspension and 'new found' guilt only is going to be compounded by his prior alleged involvement. I feel sorry for the guy because I really think he is going to be forever remembered as a scum bag liar, as well as a cheater now. And I also feel sorry for all his fans and collectors who believed enough in him to continue on supporting him. But at the end of the day, I feel sorry for baseball and the continuance of this misguided witch hunt.

Nope.

From the espn article:

Braun, the 2011 MVP, was commended by MLBPA association executive director Michael Weiner for accepting the punishment.

"I am deeply gratified to see Ryan taking this bold step," Weiner said in a statement. "It vindicates the rights of all players under the Joint Drug Program. It is good for the game that Ryan will return soon to continue his great work both on and off the field."

Last week, Weiner said that the MLBPA wouldn't fight for any players who might be suspended when faced with overwhelming evidence that they used performance-enhancing drugs.

As he should be thought of. Is there something I'm missing here?

I don't even know what to say. So much time so much $ invested. Bad day. Tough day

I really feel bad for collectors like you. I don't want to think about how I'd react if it was Omar. I might change my collecting habits or might be more apt to part with it at some point. More than anything I think it'd change my opinion about his legacy and any chance he had to make the HOF.

Sucks... sorry this happened. :(

Empathy?

Despite him probably deserving it, I still feel empathy for those who make mistakes.

I mean lets be honest here, he did not kill anyone, he took some PED's...

Ryan Braun should be castrated.

At least now baseball can return to the equal playing field it had before Ryan Braun took PEDs. All is fair again in baseball (if you ignore what teams can spend versus other teams).

Can spend and choose to spend are two different things. Don't blame teams who put the cash on the field as opposed to their pockets. Besides this topic was about a liar and a cheat, lets get back on subject.
