Well being I don't believe in luck or rg3 having good years (look at tebow dalton newton Bradford's) second year the down side is you get an auto of a guy who doesn't belong in the set sure you can sell it but half the fun of collecting is pulling hits worth keeping/PC cards. For me gavin Escobar is my PC this year. Like many others and I'd be pissed if I pulled a luck. Believe it or not I hate selling cards. So I end up keeping 90% of the cards I pull.

I am not sure "many others" would be upset. Point is the Luck n RG will have a value you should be able to maximize the trade for something you want. If that's the worse that happens , I'd say that's not a bad thing. You can't guarantee an Escobar either, but I can say you'd be able to get multiples from a trade if you pulled the sophomores.

name one QB in the last decade who wasn't a sophomore slump? besides peyton manning i can't think of anyone and to be fair manning went 1-15 his first year. its just history 99.9 percent of QB's have a sophomore slump there second year. also Gavin escobar will be a TOP rookie of the draft.

Newton's #'s were virtually the same as the year before. He must've slumped HUGE his RC year. And if Escobar see's 40% of the Cowboys offensive plays this year, it's either because he actually figured out the English language and learned the playbook or Witten got hurt.

Let me see, possibly pulling a Luck or RG3 auto or pulling a Jordan Reed auto. Hmmmmmmm ...

Also - Roethlisberger led his team to a championship his sophmore year with a regular season rating of 98.6 Even with the bad superbowl his postseason numbers combined that year 58-93 7tds 3int's 101 rating

I am sure if I examined it more there are quite a few. However going back 20yrs rookie qbs were not starting as much as they are now so hard to tell
