If the price was a little lower, I'd have hit the BIN myself, whether or not I had it. Those are just really tough issues. I hope this is one you can check off your list...

Ha I totally lied ;) I just went n looked and I didn't hit the BIN. I was on my phone traveling and thought I did but must have never clicked it. I just went and looked and it was in my section that I didn't win. Oh well, hope someone needed it

Guys, here's the chance you've been waiting for. The opportunity to buy one of the rarest, most valuable baseball cards in the world. And a Sherry Magie error, too.

Hey guys, just thought I'd share what Topps sent me today (after only waiting about 2 months since redeeming)

It's 1/5, has some damage on the bottom right corner, but I'm not worried as this will stay in the PC likely til I depart the earth. Enjoy!

Drew, I think it refers to an 8x10 set given away at a Giants game in 1994. I have these three "cards" scanned in for my Thompson collection but I'll have to dig out the complete set because I don't have any scanned for the Clark collection. I'll try to find the rest of the set this weekend and see if there is a Clark in there.

Ron, If you come across another one of these with Willie Mcgee let me know

Not a problem, I've got some other oddball stuff with McGee on then but have not idea where I put that box. If I run across it I'll let you know.

How about this one? 1989 NLCS Ring - Salesman's Sample. The seller had two (one gold plated and one solid gold). My wife pushed me to buy the gold ring, but I just couldn't pull the trigger.

I was just browsing through this thread. I have these team issues listed on my Bonds checklist as well. I've never seen copies until now. Sure hope one day I'll be able to pick them up myself. As player collectors, I'm sure many of you are well aware that these team issued/regional oddballs are sometimes the hardest items to find. Thanks again for the scan Ron!

Not a problem, a lot of times I search Giants stadium giveaways on ebay and these sets pop up.

It's been a bit quiet in here lately. So, how about a couple of 2000 Autos to get the weekend started:

This isn't a particularly difficult card, but I do think it was one of the last "Broder" cards I picked up. I really enjoy that sort of card, but many other collector's don't care for them. Either way, it's worth a couple of dollars to the right buyer.
