SMH at Topps CS. Who just now offered me the same package as a replacement I turned down to being with...OOH And he was going to let me keep the Arod/Ortiz dual. I told him flat out that "I would ship this card back AND pay for it because this is an Arod card he is garbage, this card has zero value to me." I can kinda understand getting a crap replacement that topps way overvalues.

I can't understand why they would re offer the same offer you turned down. Waste of your time, waste of company $ (which just gets charged back at us with the price jacks each year)

I think this is a fair statement.

I have not seen his collection, but from what I've seen posted, it seems he has WAYYYYYY more base cards than I do, including multiples, variations, etc...

...but in the high-end area, our collecting tastes seem very similar.

I also collect rack packs with Dawson on top or bottom like this one:

Hi Charlie, its nice to share my collection with another Dawson collector, but I hope there isnt too many more out there to compete with me on Ebay lol. I have missed out on a lot of good cards lately but I have to be choosey with a lot to catch up on.

I'm not really bidding on anything lately. The hobby has taken a bit of a backseat to my medical issues this year.

Morning all. Hope everyone has a pleasant day.

Won this vintage RPPC last night. Listed at $30 or BO, he accepted $17.00. 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers. I can't find any other examples of this particular postcard, so not sure how rare or valuable. The 1955 Exhibits team card of this image is $300-$400. What a team - Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Pee Wee Reese, Sandy Koufax, Johnny Podres, Don Newcombe and Don Zimmer.

Just checked out your Grace cameo section and Im certain I am missing out on some Dawson cards now!
