None planned, but we will most likely get to another Sunday or Monday game before the season is over. Between vacation and work schedules it has been tough. The team is quite a fun one to watch this year and I am eager to see us be a normal .500+ team in the next year or two :)
For sure brother

We should be into the mid 80s today.

I plan on doing this soon. I still need to pick up some base cards of a few guys that I want. Of course, the guys I was wanting a card of weren't in the one blaster I opened

Yeah same here, I grabbed a few packs and sent out the oddball cards. Also got a Frenchie base card! I don't really want to buy the whole set but I'm getting impatient waiting for sportlots to add the set to their site.

Me too! I keep checking because I want to pick up only a few base cards, and its hard to do that anywhere else

Anyone know the difference in a 1988 Chef Boyardee version A and B?

Morning all.

Came home from the trip to find 16 TTMs had arrived!

Posted up pics on the Through the Mail board.

Trip was good. Picked up several editions, reconnected with a bookseller friend in Berkeley that I hadn't seen in ten years.

Raining for the fourth straight day, but doesn't really bother me, just counting Dawson cards until I go to work

I enjoy the rain. Sorting through cards that you enjoy is a great way to spend time.

Seattle, KC, and Cleveland were the three teams that I thought would really improve in the standings this year. I think the future in Seattle does give a reason to be optimistic.

I agree! Was planning on doing the same yesterday when I got off work but the girlfriend needed some quality time, seems that the cardboard has been getting more attention than her lately.

Time to come to a stop for the day, at 20,380 cards so far.

Good day all.

I caught a little bit of the Ghosts reveal. I'm hoping to pre-order next week sometime.

What's everyone up too this afternoon?

Todays mail brought me Joe Nathan, AJ Pierzynski, and Christain Guzman. The Guzman has a red base since it was one for the season ticket holders

I like acquiring the occasional WWII letter / journal / medal type stuff. No medal's in the collection yet, but I do have some letters from Germany and several medical records & what not.

I'm sure I would be grabbing some of the older stuff if I wasn't a poor college student  I've always enjoyed the older stuff. Back in February I almost bought an old railroad lantern with the colored glass lenses, but the price got too high for me

I saw one about a year ago that I didn't have the money for. Hoping I find another one at some point.
