What's the backstory on umbricht?

He was big in the hobby in the 70's and 80's. When he sold his he only knew of 2 others that existed. Umbricht was a Colt .45. My dad never missed a game as a kid. He'd take his cards and 3x5 and waiting around the dugouts before games. One time they let him in the field to play catch with them!

Got the big C sometime in '63. He went fast. Look at the '64 Topps. It has an obituary in the back. Very sad.
