Yep, I got it. Pretty unusual that a seller knows exactly what they have and still completely whiff at the market value. I'm trading it to rinkrat for a different Maddux Diffractor.

Was that a BIN at $3.95? WOW

Don't give away or throw away your A-Rod cards just yet. There are currently over 14,500 eBay listings for Pete Rose cards. I know, a saint compared to A-Rod, but 10 or 20 years from now I have a feeling A-Rod's name won't be forgotten.

Not going to give or throw them away, but doubt they will ever be worth much.Yankees fans don't even like him, and he helped win a World Series for them. Are Rose cards even selling for much?

Andy,

That was me. I made a token bid 10 hours after the card was listed, and won it for $2.27 five days later. One other guy made a token bid as well. It is a new one for me. I have extras of Burnitz diffractor pp. 32 and 51 if either helps you. Will trade for any other diffractors.

Rich

Pete Rose rookie cards bring a decent amount. Search "Pete Rose Topps 1963 537". That's a rookie card, fifty years old. (There are also reprints of this card floating around.) I saw two ungraded VG cards go for $358.00 and $395.00, a PSA 6 for $670.00, and many, many others. That's just this month. I don't collect Pete Rose cards, but I remember checking that out a couple of years ago. A-Rod rookie cards will be in demand for a pretty penny later this century.

Rose rookies are only selling because they are vintage, while Rodriguez cards will always be far more plentiful.Unless masses of collectors are dumping Rodriguez rookies in the trash, I don't see them ever approaching Rose prices. If they ever do we both will be long gone by then.

I busted a case back in 99 and still have some left including some golds.

That must of been an amazing case to break! If you pulled any Belle Golds, I'd love a shot at them :)

I have all the base, thank god.

Looking for Albert Belle cards! PM me!
