Anybody working on the Ginter Code?

There is a thread about it on blowout. I agree Erich, I always enjoy reading about what is going on with the code.

Too bad the thread there is just a lot of bickering back and forth....much like every other thread there.

Is it just me or has interest in the code and solving it dropped to almost 0? Instead of hundreds trying to solve it, there are literally 2 or 3 active people it sounds like. It also went from being a week long thing to something that takes MONTHS. That has most likely turned off most to this.

probably because it's ridiculously hard (good challenge, but likely too hard for most people to put any serious effort into it).

I don't collect ginter so I'm not working the code. I probably would work the code if scans of cards might have enough information to work on it, but noone is stupid enough to scan the important parts of cards so people can work on the code for "free" just by finding scans.
