ERA under 1.5... I read a short blurp on this guy, it said the Red Sox & Yankees were already talking with him (surprise surprise), and that he'd probably be in the majors in 2014. What's the scoop?

But does it really surprise anyone it would be the Yankees or Red Sox.. Possibly Texas to be talking to anyone? There should be some sort of waiver like clause to picking up international stars with experience

Never understood why the Red Sox were so rabid to get Dice-K. Even in Japan he was overrated and had a serious problem with inflated pitch counts. It was mostly hype. Tanaka is no Yu Darvish (though he's close), but he's definitely better than Matsuzaka was.
