After finding a handful of cards not on Beckett's list and having to reshuffle a hundred pages, I gave up on binders. I might have commented on this months ago, put one example of each card in penny sleeve and top loader or one-touch, chronological/alphabetic order. Base dupes in standard storage, nicer dupes top loaded at the end of the others

I have one or two not listed so far. I think I will just add them at the end of my binders. I have 4 binders so far. I think I will add a page or two to the end of each binder for unlisted cards so they are close to the ones from that year. I am using the Unikeep binders for this and I really like them. Actually 3 of them are UNikeep and the 4th is a regular three ring.

Here is a link to the binders. They are very nice. I use a label maker I have to make the label for each binder. I need to order some more of these. It does take two of the binders to hold a typical set from the 80's. I am planning on switching all of my current binders over to these as I order more. They close up and keep the dust out. PLus they latch closed.

Ive been using binders for years. But it is best now with the bigger number of binders. One big one sucked. I had a five inch one when my collection was smaller, and it was tough to wrangle. When i get new cards, i scan them and put them on my site so i know i have them, then i put them in pages at the back of the year it belongs to. Then eventually, i get them down and organize them into their correct spots in their pages. I dont like doing the empty pocket thing and load them when i get them. Thats 3000 empty holes. How disappointing to look at a collection full of holes. So its binders for me. In fact, i just picked up a new one to replace that thinner one on my shelf. Im filling it past its limit.

For my Dustin Pedroia collection, every card is in a top loader at minimum and stored in my "card" room closet. Organized by year, alphabetically and numerically.

For the rest, my PC sets are in binders and my singles for trade are in 5,000 count boxes in penny sleeves and the higher BV cards in a minimum of a top loader. All cards are once again organized by year, alphabetically and numerically.

Thanks. It's been a work in progress for a very long time. Still has a ways to go but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Not to pick at anything, but have you given any thought to getting those nice chrome metal racks and stack your boxes on that and up off the floor? Thats about the only thing i could think the room needs. Otherwise, it is awesome!
