Some might remember when I posted this last week. Well I was bored and went to COMC to see what was there and bam, an upgrade for HALF the PSA9 going rate. Yes it will convert to PSA since all subs are 9 or higher and yes it is going ASAP.

Explain the Jeter graded card post? So you can send in that card to PSA and they'll open it and put in their own deal as a 9? Which prices better than a 9 BGS?

Yes, all companies do "Cross-over grading." PSA will give a card a PSA9 if all grades are 9+ and PSA10 for all 9.5+. If ONE sub grade is less than the grade requested they will send it back uncracked. The Jeter above could cross to PSA8.5 but not 9 based upon the surface grade.

BGS9 (with 4 subs of 9+) is about $500-600 (BGS9 with a 8.5 sub-grade is about $225-275 depending on your corner grade) and a PSA9 is $750-900 (thank the PSA registry). I bought the COMC Jeter for far less than the going ebay rate and could flip it as is if I wanted but honestly I think I will hold the better grade and punt the one with the 8.5.

The cross all companies but are more strict with those not named BGS or SGC.

Had a little mail day at school today. The cards I was hoping to come in didn't, hopefully tomorrow as I leave early Thursday morning, before the mail gets here. If only I was a Rangers fan, I'd probably be ecstatic, but I think I can flip these, unless anybody here wants anything

Two things i have noticed this morning...

1. Someone actually gave this thread a vote of one star. Who does that?

2. Ebay takes ten percent off the shipping charge. I used to think it was just the item final value. But now its also coming off what i charge for shipping. So ive been losing money on all my shipping charges. Anyone else know about this?

If I start tomorrow's thread, I was going to use solid stars. See what everyone likes. I can make different symbols on my phone, so trying to make something stand out. I believe it was GC said to make it different, so that's my goal. Not being a dick or sarcastic, just trying to help out.

Afternoon.

Had a buddy come over and spend the day. We went game chasing, and we stopped into a pawn shop that I've never been in.

They had a ton of sports stuff, but what was amazing was that a lot of it was correctly authenticated, and not too overpriced.

Anyway, just stopping in.
