Auto wise and collectibility- yes. And the card in question was an sp redemption that easily sells for over 150, even then.

My worst trade was back in 2001 when I traded an Albert Pujols SPx rookie auto straight up for a Mark Prior SPx rookie auto. At the time the Prior booked for more and I did sell it a few weeks later, but sure wish I held onto the Pujols a little longer!

I traded a Tom Seaver auto from UD Sweetspot for a 1987 Fleer Barry Bonds. Both had a $60 BV back then :(

I "traded" my 1970 Barracuda for a little cash. I had been keeping it it my parents house, since I had moved into an apartment with limited parking. My dad wanted it gone. The year was 1999. I still regret the sale to this day.

In all fairness, it didn't look quite as good as it did in it's heyday, while I was in Hawaii…but it was still decent.

I actually happened to stumble upon in on ebay several years after I sold it. The seller was the kid who bought it from me, I believe. He had planned to restore it, but obviously he did nothing with it and it just got worse. By that time, it was somewhere in the Kentucky or Tennessee area if i remember correctly. It didn't meet reserve and the saddest part was that it reached bids close to 6X what I sold it to him for! I didn't watch to see if he relished it and have not seen it since. Here is how it looked in the ebay auction.

A with that, you get to see the reason behind my online handle too.

When I was in middle school mid 90's, my buddy collected Derek Jeter and I collected Kenny Lofton (still do), but I remember trading all my Jeter's away for Lofton's. At the time it seemed like a good deal......... now I wish I had those early Jeter's back though.
