WARNING about Sportsbuy/NAXCOM - bounced check/disconnected phone

I cashed out my account with them recently to fund other purchases. Their check to me bounced.

I tried calling them at their listed number [(310) 645-4046], which they have had for over a decade. It's disconnected.

They're still active on Twitter and Facebook. We'll see if they respond there.

In the meantime, I've deleted my entire seller inventory.

It still gets it put on record that there was a problem. if 500 other people have the same issue and noone reports it nothing will happen. but if issues start popping up they will check into it.

It's just a free, really old, Angie's List. They are not a government agency and have no power other than the "tattle" on bad businesses.

This message board will accomplish more with this thread than the BB ever will, given the audience and stakeholders.

You're right, no different. That's why the BBB is constantly tracked by the FBI and Justice Department. The BBB sells drugs and prostitutes, as well as threatening physical violence to those that don't give them what they want. No different...
