First successful return today, Dick Bosman in 6 days with inscription to me

Edit: not to mention my first ever TTM success! :)
Congratulations! Have fun with it as you progress into TTM. I use index cards and write 3-4 sentences, always starting with "Please autograph the enclosed baseball card for me".
Check here http://www.freedomcardboard.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131918 for other's successes.
Check this thread to see some addresses that people have requested and to request addresses: http://www.freedomcardboard.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7171
There are a couple of address books/lists that you can purchase, as well as a real good web site that you can pay an annual fee to use. I use that site to help determine if the person is a relatively good signer or not.

Lancemountain - Can we move the "score board" to the OP? Would make it easy to find and track. I think it's really cool we have more people this time and we've got bonus point categories as well.

Sent another round out this morning :)

Good idea... And me too! Finally sent out all the ones I can for now but still have some.. 2 deceased, 3 I can't find addys for, 4 or 5 that require fees I can't pay right now, 2 that have 0% success, and all the chicle cards plus 1 or 2 of the sspc that somehow deal with spring training - waiting another week or 2 to send those out

My first three came in! Not bad considering my cards didn't arrive until after everyone else was already sending out!

I do need to send a handful more out. There are a couple that require a small fee.

Lets get the scoreboard up in the OP and keep the good times rolling!

For what it's worth, I think I have only 10 or so more to do this weekend and then I'm done... have a bunch from guys who just flat out don't sign or there is no addy or anything. I'm OK with that though... that'll give me probably close to 35 sent or something. Tons with facial hair for bonus points ;)

Another failure.. Gene Tenace sent back my card, letter, and $5

Was it an RTS from the post office, or did Tenace see your money and decide he didn't want it, and send it all back in the SASE?

I guess he decided he didn't want it and put everything in the SASE and mailed it back.. It didn't come back in the original envelope I sent it in

If you're going to go through all that hassle you'd think it'd pretty much just be easier to keep the money and sign it

Naturally my wife likes to open my stuff when it comes and she swiped the 5 bucks lol
