Wow, that's a tease! lol. I have a few copies of the '93 O'neill refractor but I know they will not bring a 10. Nice cards!

Finally completed 1996 Collector's Choice! Maddux has 7 gold sigs in this set (9 if you include the You Make the Play inserts).

I don't want to change the subject away from the Donruss Crusade topic (which is fascinating), but these two auction's ending prices blew my mind today. I was watching them just for kicks and surprised to see them sell for much more than they usually runs at auction. I paid about less than for $30 for both of these cards two years ago. Anyone else noticed prices going up on 98 Finest stuff?

Piazza 98 Finest Centurions Refractor /75 --> $102.50 at auction

Piazza 98 Finest The Man Refractor /75 --> $87 at auction

I believe the biggest factor might be the player. Piazza still has a strong following.

The night was Friday, April 22nd 2011. The seller was DallasCardBoys. Crusade Executive Proofs galore, and yes, he had on 50% auto accept. Most superstars were missing, if I recall. That night I got the Rusty Greer Green for $10 (listed at $20) and the purple for $20 (listed at $40). Three days later plenty of selection remained. I got the Sandy Alomar Purple for $15 (listed at $30), the Sandy Alomar Red for $30 (listed at $60), and the John Smoltz CTA Purple for $30 (listed at $60). I only have the Rusty Greers left. Actually just sold the Smoltz Friday for $80.

So around $60-75 for all three? Well the resell was a tad better.

The great Executive Crusade mass listing along with the Donruss Elite Status and Leaf Diamond Axis test issue listings last year really surprise me. Crazy how such large groups of these can sit dormant for so long then just pop up one day at reasonable prices. One of the great mysteries of collecting.

Yeah, I bought an entire set of 1997 Studio Master Stroke Jumbo Exec Proofs, minus the Manny, from a seller several years back just to get the Thomas. I think I paid too much for them though.

Need some help here fella's... Beckett just added (at least for Belle) a 1998 Upper Deck Jumbo card. For Belle, it's #60 , but it's NOT the 5x7 from 1998 Upper Deck. Looks like COMC has a few copies of the jumbo's and also the 5x7's... what the hell is the difference? I'm confused and surprised I don't already have the Belle sitting in my non-Beckett album.

Help!

Figured it out. The 1998 Upper Deck Jumbo 5x7 are exactly that, 5 inch by 7 inch.

The 1998 Upper Deck Jumbo is roughly 3x5 or 3.5 inch by 5 inch.

Funny but I checked and I had the smaller Jumbo one which was added today but not the 5x7...

Went on COMC and they had a 5x7, so I got it for $1... Just hope it's the 5x7 and not the 5x3. Ugh

Also if you want to check out some amazing cards, esp Jordans, check out his completed listings

Also surprised that basically the first 1/1 of a star (HOF, though not superstar) only brought this

Ryan

Those completed listings are like baseball and basketball card ****. Seriously crazy stuff.

Hey guys, ripped a box of 1999 Topps Stars last night and pulled two foil parallel cards -- base Jose Cruz Jr (/299) and 1-star Raul Mondesi (/249). If anyone is a player collector of those guys and needs the cards just PM your address and I'll CS1 PWE them to you.

And thanks to everyone for posting all the images. This is one of my favorite threads on the intraweb.
