Now with the season over what do you hope your team does in FA and Draft

Title says it all. For the Bears its obvious and that is rebuild that Defense. Obviously theres going to be alot of decisions to be made like re-signing Tillman and Melton. Peppers im guessing will be gone if he doesnt restructure his contract (16M cap hit next year). Hester I dont see being re-signed and I think he'll end up in Tampa with Lovie.

As far as FA goes if the Bears release Peppers then I think Michael Bennett becomes a top target to replace Pep on that D Line, but after that I'm not sure how big a players the Bears will be on the FA market.

The draft also should be focused mainly on D (again for obvious reasons) but there is also a need for a backup RB and drafting a young QB wouldnt hurt. I've seen several mocks that have the Bears drafting anyone from Jernigan from FSU , HaHa Clinton Dix or Mosely from Bama or the DT out of ND and any of those would be great.

Anyways what would you like to see your team do in the offseason?

I'd like to see Geno get a full year with a solid core around him.

He started playing better down the stretch last season. I would like to see a proven backup brought in to push him in preseason, though.

Most of the WRs were hurt and/or just lacked the talent to give Geno the chance to succeed.

Cowboys didn't have a choice on Ware. They couldn't beat the salary cap unless he restructured, and he said no. I am sure he just wanted to find a spot on a championship team, or anyone other than the Cowboys

Love the Houston Signing by the Bears, NFL.com had him ranked as the 6th best free agent overall. The one guy I was really really hoping the Bears would sign is TJ Ward, though I knew it was a long shot.

I agree, I like the Houston signing as he can play DT or DE. and I wanted TJ Ward for his hard hitting ability but he is just OK in Man coverage. Ryan Mundy might be a good replacement for Major Wright but haven't seen enough of his tape yet. I think Emery will still be on the look-out for a pass rushing DE, and perhaps a corner if they get into a bidding war for Peanut (who I really hope they resign if the contract is team friendly). I wanted to see them sign Darren McFadden as a back up for the speed element but now I would LOVE to see Darren Sproles aboard as he could be the slot receiver, wide-out that could help Cutty with the underneath passes and on 3rd down (not to mention return kicks and punts).
