Sorry for the dramatic title but there's not much football talk going on around here lately. What do you guys think about football free agency so far? Darelle Revis to the Patriots. DeMarcus Ware to the Broncos. (Being a Giants fan, happy to see him leave the Cowboys) Eric Decker to the Jets on a five year deal. Aqib Talib to the Broncos on a six year deal. Golden Tate to the Lions. And a lot of others!

As a Giants fan it hurts to see Justin Tuck go to the Raiders and Hakeem Nicks to the Colts

I was very sad to see the Bears release Hester.

Not getting as many TD opportunities, but he was still dominant last year on punts and kickoffs.

Why? Both were just empty Salary Cap spots the last coupla Seasons.

And I'd have to agree with ChasHawk, that Hester move makes no sense. I have no "inside" Bears info or following, but that one is beyond confusing. And his averages were up across the board last year...:-?

Well, Tuck was a favorite of mine, and I liked Nicks, more of a heart kind of hurt than a brain kind of hurt

Huge signing for the Packers today. Peppers is going to help take some focus of Clay. Pumped about this one and the fact Thompson finally opened up the check book. I love building through the draft, but that defense needed an impact player.

I know Peppers isn't what he once was, but he immediately becomes the best d-lineman on the roster.

When he shows up...

I think the idea is for Peppers to have a "Reggie White effect" on the defense. When Reggie came on with the Pack, you heard the same arguments, "he's past his prime, etc." Fortunately for Ron Wolf, this wasn't the case, and a Super Bowl was not too far behind.

People here are losing their minds over the signing. He's an experienced BACKUP. The other remaining QBs out there aren't much better if at all.

You basically traded Vick for Sanchez, best case scenario for the Eagles is that Sanchez never touches a snap

Wow! Shizz is going down in Philly, they just released DeSean Jackson... How could they not find a trade partner for him?

Same reason as Dallas for Ware. Everyone knew they would have to release him and they could then get him for free, at least players wise.

Ogando, Michael Young, Leonys Martin and all Texas Rangers
