ESPN is reporting that even if Clowney fell to the Jags at 3, they still would have taken Bortles. Good move, bad move? Discuss

You need a franchise QB these days so if you need one you have to take one if you think one is available. I just don't know that he is a franchise QB

Yep, as great as Clowney may be, you still need a Pro Bowl caliber QB to go deep in the Playoffs...

It sounds to me like they're just leaking the right things to boost their new QB's confidence and drum up fan support/hype.

I also saw that if Bortles / Johnny Football dropped to 29 in the first round that the Patriots would've taken them. ESPN just drumming up mindless chatter.
