From Chipper's Wikipedia page:

"Jones met his first wife, Karin Fulford,[SUP][99][/SUP] while he was playing with the Braves class A affiliate in Macon, Georgia. The couple married in 1992 and later divorced after it was revealed that Jones had had an 18-month extramarital affair with a Hooters waitress which produced a son, Matthew, born in 1997.[SUP][100][/SUP][SUP][101][/SUP]"
Wow, damn, that's nuts. Feel bad for the kid to have that linked to your name or whatever. Kid is a teenager obviously now.

Juan's only knock is steroids. Chipper banged a Hooters waitress behind his wife's back and had a kid w/her. Lesser of two evils I guess.

One has something to do with baseball, and the other has nothing to do with baseball. Let's just all agree to collect Jeter :)

They have been listed for months. I think the Randy Johnson Collector bought a pack for 1998 but hit base only.
I just don't get it. Clearly when you open a box of this stuff, you know what your "hits" will be and usually you will get all your "hits" before the box is empty... I'm not saying this is what this person is doing but IMO that is what this is. I mean good for whoever buys and gets but I'm 99% sure nothing but base are in there, so hope they get one of the four Belle patterns I need and they can get $5 for it off me, which is probably 5x the value

This seller (a major Orioles dealer/collector) listed 20 Bell diffractors last Saturday, but listed them along with the base cards as 1999 cards. I picked up the 10 diffractors that I needed and clued him in about the year. He relisted the remainder, but stuck with the "diffractions" stuff. I have about ten extras of the missing cards from his base set which I believe is actually 74 cards if anyone here picks up the lot.

Great eye, and congrats on picking up those diffractors for your set. Nice score indeed.

Meanwhile, I grabbed an extra Ventura in the mail today...down to needing 19....78.9% done.

I needed pattern #81 to complete my first Tek base run of O'neill. It took me 15 years to complete and when I tracked patern #81 down ironically I located two more #81 for my second set and a spare. Now I'm only 5 away from my second base set. Need these:

14, 44, 69, 72, 90

Decided to go through some cards i had collected when i was younger, havent gone through them in about ten years. I do believe i stumbled upon a Griffey Jr. Diffractor. Judging from comments on this thread it is a rare card. I have been thinking about re-joining the hobby, haven't yet decided what the Griffey diffractors fate will be,
as of yet.

We'd need to see a pic or scan to help you determine if it is a Diffractor. The two recent auctions sold for $112ish, but Fandruw hasn't sold his at $100. But there's your ballpark.
