I know it's been asked before...where else can you sell other than eBay?

My last 2 sales, both non-payments! Ebay does nothing for sellers except keep screwing them, so where else have you guys gone to sell stuff?

Thanks. While those are all acceptable ideas, none come close to the traffic that horrible eBay has. It seems like they dislike small time sellers more and more. Ok I'm done with the eBay rant, sorry

Did you think there was a giant auction site for baseball cards that you were missing?

Your inventory looks like it would be a good candidate for COMC.com. Might save some fees too, but longer cycle of getting paid.

Yeah, eBay could do more about reporting and blocking non-payers. But if you sell modern singles and they're volatile in value, you'll probably just have to assume a few non-payers as cost of doing business.

You can also try collector revolution. Seems to be getting better.

Only thing comparable to ebay would be Amazon, but no idea how, or even if you are allowed to sell on there as a small time seller.

As long as you cling to that truism, the situation will never change. The only way for those other sites to generate more traffic is for you to use the sites to generate more traffic. If everyone who says this would list something on the other sites, there would be a massive uptick in traffic at all of them.

Other sites include:

OnlineAuction.com
bidStart.com
eCrater.com (http://clydes-stalecards.ecrater.com)
Webstore.com
eBid.net
ePier.com
BuyMyCards.Net (http://www.buymycards.net/shop.php?user_id=100115)

eBay is the most popular because it is the easiest. Buck the trend and set up your own store, then pimp it on your blog/twitter/facebook/tumblr/instagram/pinterest. You'll never sell anything if you don't list anything.

I have puchased items from OnlineAuction, bidStart, eCrater, Webstore, COMC, Sportlots and Beckett. I sell on eCrater, Sportlots, COMC and BuyMyCards.

Here's the same rant (with pictures!).

I get better sales on Facebook Card sale groups. Especially for low-end and mid-range cards. Obviously, no sellers fees and alot of times if they trust you, no PayPal fees.

For "base" cards, especially Local teams, in $5-10 lots, I actually do well with Local "Garage Sale" groups on FB.

But for $20+ cards, you're probably just best dealing with the eBay hassles...
