I've busted several boxes. I get my usual blue refractor in every box...but now they're /399. They've always been /99 or at least /150 in Draft. Same with other parallels - in the equivalent of one case, I've pulled exactly one green refractor...and even that's numbered to 150 instead of 75.

How horribly did Topps screw this up? It looks like they AT LEAST doubled the production, if not more. I'm getting less color, and the color I do get is numbered twice as high as previous years

The CL helps to make up for this, IMO. Great crop overall. Steer clear of wax and buy the singles you want. That's my mantra.

I rememer a year or two ago, wasn't there two paper blues/500 and one paper orange/250 in each hobby box? I got a jumbo box of 2014 Draft and pulled ONE blue paper. I'd say they cranked the presses big time.

Yeah, Blues were /500. They're /399 this year. In two boxes+one super jumbo, I pulled ONE. There should be 2-4 at least.

Yeah. Tons of good names. One of the better checklists of the past few years IMO.
Just checked BO and they've already marked down cases of hobby to $599....freaking crazy!

If it gets down to 520-500 I might buy a couple to sit on till the season. They always go back up in spring.

On the secondary market they are dipping near 500...but those Super Jumbos are soaring...

Box prices on super jumbos are still around 190-200, with some selling lower, some higher.

I am just looking on ebay though, maybe they are taking off somewhere else.

I usually stay away from wax, but because of personal issues and multiple Jays autos i went alittle overboard.
Last 2 boxes saved the day, but wow...things have changed since my 1'st box in 2002 :/

I think this year's draft has to be overproduced - I got my draft chrome set for around half of what I normally would pay and most of the completed listing final prices were the same so I didn't get a better deal than most others.

I think it appears to be overproduced, but with no retail version, I think the numbers are pretty consistent with the years past.

Draft has been hobby only since 2012 and this year seems to be substantially higher production than even 12 and 13
