Ok I think I pm'd everyone back and I'm going to close this out on Friday Morning since I'll need to send out the package(gift cards) and card with everyones name on it that has donated to helping out George........... So if you want to send anything over to make this run. Then PM me since I'll be at work and can only check Pm's while i'm working. Don't want to be caught by my boss lol

As of now George has been getting better, but his lungs have really taken a beating, and he is really fighting this too. The Flu and the Pneumonia and on top of the other things he had happen, I'm sure it is really is kicking his butt butt. But George seems to be improving as of yesterday's update from his family.

Ok Fellas last night I got a text message from George. he is home and has been for about and week. He told me to tell everyone who helped him and his family,

He is weak and still has a long way to go, but will try and get on here and personal thank all of you when he can......
With your collective efforts we where able to send George $700 to help them in their time of need.........
I have updated the list with everyone that I know of that sent to me and I signed on the card as well.

I have not seen any updates but here is what George's posted on her facebook page earlier this month about him.
So a little update on my George Calfas; he's is approaching some normalcy with his other lab numbers. His incision is pretty wicked looking but healing (and I keep reminding him that chicks dig scars). Otherwise, we continue to take it one day at a time. Hopefully some day he will be able to pick up the babies and get back on the basketball court. A deeply felt thanks to our dear friends, families, and colleagues for such amazing support!!!!

Man I'm glad numbers ect are showing improvement , but still tough to read about what he isn't able to do. Feel better George !
