We could do this like a break and I will take the Andre Dawson spot lol
I would totally do this if I could get a firm grasp on what the shipping would be. $60 could be low, and I'm not sure the whole lot is worth $100 if it's JUST early 90's junk.
North Carolina
Ow many boxes is it? I can go home and weigh that many boxes and then check shipping on that weight to North Carolina
I doubt they'll get to any questions with only a few hours left (it's a live auction).
Looks like at least 7 3 or 4 row boxes. a 2 row box. Roughly 10 binders, 10 single row boxes and 3 pall mall tins. Gonna be tough to estimate.
Okay, didn't realize it was an auction and just thought it was the boxes. If you take the gamble then I am in
I bid the $25 opener. Crossing my fingers that it's not like a $200 shipping. They use some shipping company, but I would guess it'll come UPS or FedEx
Morning all. Had some weird dreams lately of people I haven't seen in forever.
Junk 90's wax... I remember at an estate auction in Iowa somebody had 4 shoebox of 90-91-92 donruss. Some dude actually paid almost $20 a box for them. Blew my mind
Meh, I went ahead and pulled out my absentee bid (these don't count as actual bids until the auction begins). I was re-reading the shipping disclosure, and it just seemed too poorly worded to understand their policy.
The way that it reads is that they don't do ANY part of the shipping. The buyer has to contact a local shipping agent there and arrange pick-up and all of that. Yeah, I'm not down for that.
Make the $ work for you better than 75% of what you spend being s/h. Good move, unless it had that stash of EX Credentials and Gold Die Cut Refractors I heard about in NC that was supposed to be in a lot during a live auction sometime in March.
