Good morning.

Does anyone remember the name of the thick snap cases that came out in the 90s (maybe even the 80s) that had a small nickel size snap in the top center?

As I've mentioned, I'm going through and organization overhaul. The more I think about a card like an 1991 Stadium Club Frank Thomas, or a 1990 Lêaf Ken Griffey Jr., the more I am reminded of those cases and how much I'd like to find some still brand new.

So I asked Topps this:

Is the 2015 Topps Tribute Baseball going to be rereleased somehow? As a player collect (I super collect Andre Dawson) I need to know if I need to go ahead and grab one of everything that is on the secondary market if that is all that is ever going to be on the market of this product or if more product is going to hit the market at a later date.

Thank You

And this is the answer I got:

Dustin, we haven't decided yet on what we are going to down the road with 2015 Tribute. We are still discussing it.

Dustin. I would grab what you can, since these maybe the rare original release stuff. Because is going to screw the pooch even more, when they figure out what their going to do. If they ever do too.

I usually wait to pick anything up because prices are always too high in my opinion after the release. I just picked up the Dawson auto out of Topps Series 1 this week, but guess what I got it for $7.50 delivered. When you buy as much Dawson stuff as I do you have to wait for it to go cheap. Once I heard about this recall I did start picking up a few autos, even ones that where smudged for more than what I would pay but what I would say fair price is for a recent release. Tried to pick up a few more last night but people are bidding this stuff up, guess I'm just going to have to change gears and pony up if I want to get some of it.

Update to the collection I bought for $200:

Sold the comic books (low end) to a buddy for $20.
Sold everything else - except for the Jeter and OJ - to another buddy for $125 (he got a hell of a deal on that. Will take some work, but he'll make that back in the vintage football)

I'm now $55 into a VERY nice OJ rookie and a VERY VERY nice Jeter 93 SP foil. I'm pumped.

Then sell those. And you will be in a very good profit in the pocket

Good Afternoon Gents! Weekend flew by way too quickly but it was busy, fun and relaxing all at different times.

Thanks, Fellas

Winner winner on the OJ and Jeter Adam! Keep doing deals like these and eventually your Ghrimes button will have been paid for with profit :)

Afternoon. I need a vacation

That's awesome adam. Amazing pickup and deal

Dustin, I'd grab what you can. Not everyone will return what's out there but what sense would It makke for topps to reprint all the auto cards and get them signed again? Think they'll do what they can to replace what's returned but as far as a complete reprint... doubt it. OR reprint and sp the run in future releases
