I didn't think there was beer less than $8.50 at ATT park - and with another ring I did;t expect them to go down this year. I'll be there next week and will check.

Prices are high at ballparks for two reasons:
1) to thwart drunk driving
2) to create a family atmosphere.

They charge those prices because they have too. All you fans that think Player A "deserves 20M a year" because "that's the going rate" are to blame. That's why you are paying $9 a beer. Keep accepting inflated contracts and your beer, soda, parking, seats, tshirts, hats will continue to go up. The owners will not pay the difference, they will continue to tax the fan more and more and hope the fans will excuse it away with ideas like "to create a family atmosphere."
