Carl Yastrzemski. Another favorite, this is the best Yastrzemski patch card ever made in my oponion. Felt Yastrzemski patches are hard to come by espically jumbo ones. I think mlballtimegreats might agree?

About damn time, lol, All of these are looking awesome man keep it going.

Jim rice. Another favorite, not sure why exactly I like this card so much....but it just looks nasty for a rice patch.

Anyone know the reason they did such odd numbering ? /34, /35, /39 , /47 , /50 etc. If they were unnumbered and some were SPs etc , I'd get that , but the fact they did serial numbering that way is odd. Also odd David Cone made this group.

Frank Howard. Favorite of mine again, vintage flannel red number patches from Dodgers jerseys are incredible :)

i do not have a answer for your question. My only theory is this is how much material they had to cut up and it came out with print runs like you see. Another thought to expand on it is I believe this cards were like 1 per case or something like that. Just a couple thoughts, but have no way to validate my opinions. David cone is a bit odd...but it is a great yankee pinstripe patch!!

I get the amount of material theory , but that can be used across any set where it's serial # the same. Say make everything /30 and save the rest of the material for another product. Or do 2 serial #s /30 and /50. It's an OCD thing where it's weird to see so many different numbers. Or like I mentioned , don't serial # them. Anyway it's like a decade too late to complain ;)

Great stuff as usual !

It's one of the reasons why people quit going after the set. I commend Christensen for keeping at it.

the Gibson is numbered 1/1, the mattingly is numbered to /9 along with a few other players really low numbered, Nolan Ryan. Great set

I'm never going to give up on it ha!
Currently needs are :
Molitor 13
Jackie robinson 12
Mattingly hitting 9
Andre dawson 7
Mike Schmidt 6
mike Schmidt 5
winfield 3
musial 3
Gibson 1

I hold out slim hope I can land 6 of my missing 9 cards. I might be to optimistic though :(

Johnny bench. Another big favorite. This bench material is one of the oldest bench fabric cards I've ever seen, the patch is nice felt too! Rare for a bench
