So I definitely had a proud boyfriend moment this weekend. A little backstory, Jayme's dad has been living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for almost 20 years now. When we first started dating 6 years ago, he was able to get around with a cane and/or a walker. Well fast forward to a couple of years ago, it got to the point where he was confined to a wheelchair for the majority of the day, but was able to stand for 10-20 minutes at a time without walking. Now when he's able to stand, its for a short time, mainly to get from his lift chair to his wheelchair or power chair to use the restroom. About a month ago she applied to be a part of MS Run the US. This is a relay of 18 people that run from Los Angeles to New York City. Each leg is about 160 miles and has to be covered in 6 days by the runner. She got confirmation yesterday that she is on the team. She is beyond ecstatic about it. One big part of agreeing to do it is that she agrees to raise $10,000 to be put towards researching a cure for MS. Since her dad has been her biggest inspiration in her life, this means more than anything to her. So needless to say, I'm gonna be doing quite a bit of fundraising with her over the next 10 months, but it will all be worth it in the end

Very cool Zach! My wife's old college roommate has MS now, so in her honor, put us down for your first $20.

I definitely wasn't trying to get you guys to donate. I just wanted to share the great news with somebody other than my family
