My money is on base. The patterns that look like chains or swirls really picks up some interesting light. I wish you the best, but if it is a Diffractor I'll be sick to my stomach. I must have looked at that listing three times.

I concur, I'd put it at 85%.

"95% sure this is a hidden slabbed Griffey diffractor, but the scan is so blurry I can't make out the pattern. For $9.99 and free shipping, I rolled the dice."

What I have been looking at are the two very clear triangles about halfway down the gold border on the right side. They say 'diffractor' to me. Looking at the Christmas lights reflecting off the slab tells me nothing. I'll know in a week or so.

Got the Griffey cards in today. I was wrong. Not a diffractor, but base p. 26 (which I don't need). What threw me off was wide scotch tape across the face of the slab(!), both glue residue from pulled off tape and pieces of tape over the gold border. Not into slabbed cards anyway, but who puts tape on the face of a slab?

Also got in a 1998 Griffey Topps Photo Gallery #PG5 . Slabbed as PSA 8. Who knows why? There is glue gunk on the face of this slab too. Anyone wants it, yours for $2.50 to pay for bubble mailer postage.

Got my 1st Randy Johnson Tek card in Saturday. Nice card. Only need 8 more players to have 1 of each of the 90 players in the set.

McGwire, Justice, Gwynn, Sheffield, Ripken, Mussina, Piazza, and Mo Vaughn

I'm kind of surprised Justice would be 1 of the last 8. Must be quite a few Justice collectors out there. Is he in a Braves uniform on this card?

What pattern is your Belle? Doubt it is the one I need but of so I would trade you a Belle for a Belle plus cash :)

Does anyone have any extra Marlins? I think Kotsay, Dunwoody and Floyd are in the set. I'll never collect all 90 variations, but I'd like to have 9 of each to put in album pages

You might want to get them from rinkrat since he could easily do 9x for each player out of his duplicate trove, but if you want them from me I have the following:
(4) #22 Kotsay
(5) #36 Dunwoody
(3) #46 Renteria
(4) #76 Derrek Lee

Would be game for doing all 16 at $11 + the cost of shipping which I think would run $2 so call it $13 for the bunch. PM me if interested. Thanks.

P.S. - there is no Cliff Floyd in the set.

Picked up a same Card# pattern # 56p56 Mondesi for one of 2 more 1998 Topps TEK 90 card sets I am building of same Card #/ Pattern # 98 TEKs. This allows for a sample of all 90 patterns in one set of all 90 players. I believe someone here also had a McCracken 82p82 but never heard back from them. LMK if anyone else here has any extra Pattern # 1 or Same Card # / Pattern# Teks to trade or sell ...
