my husband is progressing and is FINALLY home now. thank you for your thoughts are prayers. to those who do not know what happened he was in a motorcycle accident returning home after volunteer baseball game for handicapped and disabled children. he was stopped at the red light when a 47 drunk driver rammed him from behind at 68 mph. after over a year and half later nic is finally home with his family. again thank you for your thoughts and prayers. to jose and frank thank you for calling us and keeping in touch as well as being helpful when i had questions about what cards are and how to list on ebay.

Not sure if anyone else is into factory replacement stuff, but 1967dew has some of the 1999 Pacific Prism Holographic Gold factory replacements up for sale at very reasonable prices. From memory I believe that only a few are thought to exist per player. Picked up my first ones from FCB mainstay Chris Kurdelski a long time ago, just stumbled across these when doing some market research and thought the other PC guys would want to give a look. the second was listed by Probstein at auction a week ago and sold for $87.89. go figure.

So this just showed up in my Conine search. I've never seen it, but it was $2 delivered so I immediately hit the BIN and paid.

Then I got to thinking...could it be?! Is THIS the elusive "1997 Marlins Pacific" that's been sitting in my Excel sheet unhighlighted for years? It's not like I can compare it to any others from the set. I've never seen an example of any player. For those who don't remember, I've spoken about it before. It was a stadium giveaway, limited to 16000. It was given out on June 27th, before the trading deadline. They didn't really start drawing fans until the pennant race heated up in September. No way in hell there were 16000 given out, unless there was also a packrat-who-doesn't-know-how-to-use-ebay promotion the same day (it's Florida, so that's also likely)

Pretty sure I just bought my white whale for two bucks!

I would think that fits the description. Unless you have something listed as Nation Bank also, I'd consider that purchase to be what you were looking for. Congrats and great price.
