Kinda like when the Angels took on the Vernon Wells contract. I guess if you have extra money to burn and don't have anything to trade.....it's the way to go.

I'm hearing Grayson Long, the Angels #9 prospect.

This would place him somewhere between 400-500th overall lol (kidding...kind of)

He's actually put together a very solid season in double-A.

Hate seeing Pujols getting dumped on. At one time he was 2'nd in RBI'S while Trout was out, keeping them in the race. I can't see him getting better tho...reminds me of McGwire.

Upton has an Opt-out at the end of the season but I don't see him getting that big a deal if he should. Unless he just leaves to join a Big Name team...

I hope he balls out for the Angels. They're maybe the biggest surprise of the year especially after trout went out
