Issued a 2 out walk after getting ahead with a 1-2 count. I hate seeing that and it happens too often with young pitchers. Just put it in the strikezone and see what happens, especially when there is nobody on base. A walk is worse than a hit, except when it leaves the park

The ERA doesn't say much other than the fact Gohara has pitched far better than someone with a 4+ ERA, as his 2.90 FIP would be considered excellent. His .375 BABIP has much to do with the disparity. If he had a league average BABIP his ERA would likely be closer to his FIP

Ozzie hits a solo shot, his 5th HR of the season!

He's actually hit 14 home runs, when you combine his AAA numbers. That's pretty damn good when you consider he was first given a power tool score of 20 back when he was 17 years old. That's pretty much defined as having zero HR potential (think Ben Revere).

Again, he very well could become an Altuve type player a few years from now.
