The winner was chipper-cards I think. I believe he is a member here.

Only coming up with that by matching the FB of the buyer and the eBay user ID, but I would be pretty confident it was them. Amazing pickup.

Plaque stats 5/250. I know it has been stated that the 1st 25 sets were the red letters. If that is true then where are the other 225 sets? There has never been any other sets known but the red letter set in the frame. Or Score did not make all 250 sets.

This is a good question - has anyone ever seen a framed set other than the Gold/Red sets we've seen to date?

That is what I want to know. Why did Score put /250 on the Red letters. Why not just /25.

Maybe it was experimentation in those crazy days but certainly wasn’t an isolated incident of the first X/XX having some auto, die cut, or other variation. That would be a fun list to assemble

Great and logical question. Answer is probably the same reason why Donruss/Leaf did not explicitly number the 1998 Prime Numbers, 1998 Fractal Matrix Z-Axis die-cuts, or 1998 Fractal Foundations Z-Axis die-cuts: to confuse us all.

Then again, this was all the same company at the time, so it all "makes sense", right?
