I'm selling my Ripken duplicates for $10.00 each. I have extras of 44 of the Ripken patterns: 2, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 41, 42, 43, 46, 47, 48, 50, 52, 53, 54, 57, 63, 64, 67, 68, 76, 77, 79, 80, 83, 84, 88, and 90.

No. If Pattern #1 is harder to get it's because of the market, not production.

For Belle, I’m pretty sure the #2 pattern is much tougher for some reason.

Truly amazing. I think I’ve only seen 5 Bellles ever available, and ended up with 4 of them. 51 is a serious accomplishment!!

You do know there is no pattern # 49 in the diffractors so there are 89... right? but 51 of 89 is incredible.. No wonder I cant find one for my second mixed 90 card diffractor set with 14 cards to go. My only Cal Ripken, Jr diffractor in one completed 90 card mixed set is a pattern # 53. Have a third set with 32 diffractors to go but haven't made a dent in either set in two years as Ive been winding down out of obsessive card chasing.

I compared Diffractor HAVE lists a couple years back including the roth guy who says he has half of the 8010 diffractors and nobody has a Pattern # 49. Topps Customer service, as is the norm, will not comment to confirm nor will comment about how many diffractors of each card were actually made. I'm not sure but I may have the second most number of diffractors at around 400 but because they keep getting bid up I don't think I have made a dent of maybe one or two in past year. I typically drop out of ebay bidding early although I do bid (unsuccessfully) from time to time like on the current batch of AROD diffractors listed one by one on ebay. I completed one mixed 90 card diffractor set and have two others with 14 and 32 cards to go for all 90 for a set and can use two ARODs for Set # 2 and # 3... Will I ante up big for them? Will I win one or two..? Nah

So there does not appear to be a pattern# 49 diffractor of ANY of the 90 players in 1998 Topps TEK
