small day today. The lajoie came in the mail and the rest I got a small target box and beat the odds of 2 gu or autos with 2 gu and one auto1

So where do you guys think they get the really old authentic, game-used stuff that they're cutting up and making into into cards these days? My first thought is from the HOF, but then I don't think the Hall would give or sell historic artifacts to anyone that they know would cut it up.

LOL! I wouldn't be surprised. I think it's sad, though, that they're literally destroying these historical relics just to sell more cards for 1-2 years. Once a game-used Babe Ruth jersey has been cut up and separated, it can't be put back together.

Yea but thousands of Ruth fans can own a piece of Ruth.... To me that's priceless. Oh and they buy a lot of stuff from private collectors.
