A fun and great mystery. An expensive one. I sounds like someone doesn't want to be know who's doing it.

Cool story but even a reverse negative 1989 Dale Murphy PSA 10 doesn't come close to $250....

$250 Murphy. Great research! Maybe it's the Impractical Jokers!

Probably called a card shop and asked how much it's worth and thought the guy said $250 when he really said $2.50, which may be the retail price in Greece, the country.

which would you prefer? Leaving cards in a wegman's or torching them in a bonfire? Obviously someone chose leaving junk wax rather than burn it.

I don't buy Wegman's doesn't know who is doing it because there should be security cameras everywhere in that store if it's like my Kroger-branded supermarket.

The penny sleeve clearly means the cards are worth millions.

They're preserved in "little envelopes"!
