2018 Immaculate Ohtani nameplate question

All the backs say is "Player Used Material". Nowhere does it actually say the swatch came from the exact guy on the front.

So the disclaimer needs to be updated to say: "The memorabilia contained on this card is not from any specific game, event, season OR PLAYER".

Reminds me of the UD manufactured patches where it spelled out things other than the players name.

Wonder what all the other player’s nameplates said? Would also be curious as to who thought it was a great idea to use that nameplate instead of his own damn name.

It was probably cheaper to get a hundred “rated” and a hundred “rookie” rather than everyone personalized

Possibly, but you’re still getting different letter designs, since they play for different teams, if they did this for most players. Was looking at some of the other plates, in a previous post, and curious what the Hoskins came from?
