A while back, junkwaxgems site mentioned these cards which have a glossy Tiffany like front and opc like stock on back.

Just found a bunch and was wondering if there's any new info?

The pics I've taken look just like the regular cards. Can really only tell in person.

I remember getting these as packs when I was a child I would tell you I probably still own the big name players though they are in a storage unit in Virginia Beach and I am no where near their at the moment

Here's the two Mattingly's I have.

It's so hard to tell from the photos but as long as you're familiar with Tiffany cards, you'll see the difference in person.

First one is the regular issue. You can see the paper texture.

Last one is the Tiffany and you DON'T see the paper texture, only the Tiffany gloss.

The Tiffany versions I've found so far were in a box filled with thousands of junk wax era cards I got long ago so it looks like they came from packs.Screenshot_20201129-220939.jpegScreenshot_20201129-220913.jpeg

I have these to, not sure if they are Tiffany(never knew they had a Tiffany set). Need to know check to see what I got, if I can find it in my pile of cards. :(

Yes, I am. You have the mysterious "Tiffany" finish?

I’m going to look. I know I tossed some because they were bricked bad but I know lots of the better players I liked I put to the side individually. I don’t know if I’m crazy but yes some did have a glossier finish than others. I’m going to have to recheck that. I did have an Ozzie as well but he might take me longer to track down since I wasn’t too into him as a kid. He’s somewhere. I’ll post once I find something.

Only one I found so far unfortunately. Not any gloss. I hope I didn’t toss them all!

Here we go . I can’t really tell if they are glossy or not. In light they look like but need to do more research when I get time plus I got to see what is salvageable from the bricks.

The guy from the article said there was a way to tell from the backs. The whiteness. Very difficult to tell so far but maybe if I look at them long enough
