So I just got this after searching a box of cards but have not got a lot of info on what it could be worth. It’s numbered 50 out of 500. I saw a couple forums that said they are not common. Does anyone have more info on it?

Not issued in 1993. Likely in 1998-99 but could be 1996 or 1997 commemorating his ROY win.

You do realize that these Porcelain cards were only Produced up to 1997. The Silver which I own look identical to the White which they made the entire set for. This was made no later than 1997 and from what I heard not sure if this was true the Silver was from where they sold as an entire set that had 500 produced in 1993 as the White boarder was individually sold.

Rumor has it they made the entire set from years 1993 to 1997. I own Silver Versions of the 1993 and 1997 Derek Jeter cards. I know a guy who is looking for the Silver version if you have have one and trying to sell it. These cards have a lot of mystery to them atone who gives you a response is speculating. The last picture is from a 2003 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards book and I am sure they knew more than we do.

I think the only year they allegedly made the whole set was 1993. The other years just seem to be limted to certain superstar players, or the teams that went to the World Series.

I have seen Silver commons of 1993 and I wish I had asked more questions to the guy I bought my Silver off of on eBay. He had something like 40 up for sale around 10 years ago and he told me he bought the set. Leading me to believe the set they made 500 with a different boarder color and the White were individually sold where 1000 to 5000 were made.

There are more questions than answers on this and I am not sure if anyone but R&N truly knows the real answer.

Do you believe there is a full set of 1993 Topps Silvers as well as the regular white border 1993 Topps set # to 1000 and 5000?

I have only ever seen a silver Jeter, I've not seen a silver version of any of the other 1993 cards. I think the Jeters were from an entirely separate offering from the regular 1993 cards.

That was my belief as well but @chris19978 said he's seen Silver commons as well. I'd love some further info or clarification there.
