Sold off my whole Canseco collection 5+ years ago and moved away from the hobby totally aside from a small side PC of funny named players. Have continued to follow the hobby from afar until a couple months ago I decided I wanted to expand my side PC and go after whoever I could find that fit the collection. It has taken me deep into the vintage world I always avoided and given me quite an appreciation for these cards now. My goal had been to get cards ExMT-NrMt as close to or RC of each player at a cap of $25. The first large pic I will share is where I started originally and the rest will show you what I’ve obtained over the last few months. I continue to find new names and cards to chase which has made this funny and enjoyable all at once. I like that I don’t get into bidding wars for everything.. i can just go at whatever pace I want and not break the bank doing it. The best part is the cards have become quite the conversation piece amongst people that I show them to. The laughs are well worth the money spent!

Does it have to be that one? I could check and see what Stoner cards I have at home…

Sent from my iPhone using Freedom Card Board mobile app
If I can’t get a red I may have to settle for an orange. My goal with the players of the 1990s-up is to get the lowest number RC card I can afford or a nice rare insert if they have one.

I love that collection. I've actually thought about starting one for myself, but never done it.

Can't believe you don't have a Randy Johnson card somewhere in the mix!

With Randy I’m trying to decide if I want a rookie or a rarer insert. If I go rookie it would probably be a Fleer Marlboro error otherwise he’s got loads of rarer 90s stuff I can pick from.

Not yet.. I’ve been focusing on the vintage in highest grade or raw quality I can find or lowest numbered or rarest card if newer player. Trying to stick to $20 max per card/player budget but there are a few that doesn’t apply to.
