This guy made a full set of '89 Hoops by collecting the packs with each card in the set showing on the top of the pack.

I once sold a bulk lot to a guy who was trying to fill in a decade worth of player's birthdays.

Only had 1 card of each player but he sorted them by their birthday...

Had a friend who did something similar with Topps baseball and cello packs. Got 3 quarters of the way with '86 and finished '87 and'88. He would buy 3 pallets of cello cases every couple of weeks. What he couldn't use, I would buy and build sets with. I bought the collection in 1990 when he was transferred to Dallas.

Haha, finally got caught back up at work for this first time in probably 6 months. I'll check in when I want. Plus, boss is gone for the afternoon, giving me a little more time to check in.
