I just received a sealed box of 2004 Upper Deck MLB Breakey Battle Packs. 40 packs per box and each pack has 5 Keys. Should I start ripping packs or keep box sealed?

Wow I've never even seen that before, cool! Does the game still work if opened?

I had never heard of those when i stumbled upon someone selling them years back. Either they were only a limited test issue or did very poorly in general on the market. i ended up buying a purple Eric Gagne just to have one for a "type" item. Remains the only one I own to this day.

I would open it myself unless you stand to make a bundle flipping it sealed, but about the only things I keep sealed are factory sets and anything pack wise with Garvey on top.

I opened it tonight. 2nd pack I got the Ultra Rare Albert Pujols. Pulled 2 Secret Rare Ichiro. Left side is Common. Center is Uncommon. Right side is Super Rare & Ultra Rare. Also, the checklist shows a T.Hoffman Uncommon when it is actually M.Ramirez.

I would possibly be interested in a checklist and maybe some other Dodgers if you are moving any of them. It looks like players are issued in different colors, correct?

I got a second sealed Breakey box in and just opened the 40 packs. Out of two boxes opened, I determined all yellow, red, green & blue are Commons (except for a blue Frank Thomas in box today). All white, black, orange & purple are Uncommons. The Super & Ultra Rare players can have different see through colors. I might start selling in player lots.

When the lot arrived, I saw one of the keys had a purple sticker on it and started to doubt myself as to what I had already, but it turns out I did have a purple key of Gagne, so all of these I bought from you are new to me. Thanks again.

Any different Dodgers in the 2nd box by chance?

I Got 2 Gagne Supers and one had a pink see through color and the other looked like the one I sent you.

Yes, and I made the last post in thread regarding lawsuit, which I had forgotten about. I have given my findings from opening 2 boxes with 5 breakeys per pack. The pack odds show 3:1 for Common, 2:1 for Uncommon, 1:4 for Super Rare, 1:8 for Ultra Rare. Odds were fairly consistent with about 10 Super Rares & 5 Ultra Rares per box.
