Tornadoes east of Denver yesterday, some visible from the city. Nobody killed but some serious damage. Which reminds me of some trivia:

Question: five of the most powerful tornadoes ever recorded happened within 50 miles of what US city?

Answer: OKC!
Not surprising. A friend sent me this graphic. Just a few years ago the highest priced states for homeowners' insurance were California, Florida, Louisiana and Texas.

Can't remember, are you in Kansas or Missouri? Or just unlucky and forced to be a Royals fan? I'm definitely going to complain about Nebraska on that infographic...

I live in Florida. F uck state farm! They kept jacking up my car insurance in the last 2 years. Every time I went to pay the bill, I would ask why it went up again. I was told they had a rate increase. I then said it went from $300 every 6 months to $1200 every 6 months. In just 2 years and the homeowners tripled I told her that I have had state farm auto for 52 years with NO Claims I told her to tell State farm to cram it up their ASS. She then told me that I could not talk to her like that. I said I just did. F. U. Buy the way. State farm does not issue homeowners insurance. Have not for over 15 years or better They are just a broker. But the car ins is getting outrageous.

Hey, hey, hey!!! Both, I live in the great state of Missouri, and I force myself to be a Royals fan. The only other team I follow is the Brewers. I have to have an NL team to root for.

Good lord! Now that's a close call.

A couple days ago my friends little sister’s house was leveled in Marion, IL by an F4 tornado. She was thrown from the house and walked away pretty much without a scratch on her, thankfully. The next day someone posted on an Evansville, Indiana Watch Instagram page that her mail had landed there. Evansville is 84 miles away from her house. Wild.

A tornado hit western Massachusetts in 2011. Did some damage when it jumped from town to town. We got tremendous lightning shows all that night in Boston.
