Hi,
I just pulled a 2025 Bowman Chrome Eduardo Quintero auto card from a break. It's a true blue 1/150 and the only card that he signed where he also signed 'My 1st Bowman Auto'. He's obviously really hot right now and this (according to this SI article - https://www.si.com/collectibles/insi...rd-inscription) is more rare and more valuable than a 1/1 superfractor due to the inscription.

I'm getting it graded as soon as I get it (at PSA). If this card grades a PSA 10 what kind of thoughts do you all have of what this card is worth? In this thread, I'm not just looking for what my card is worth, but any history/knowledge of these inscription cards, thoughts about them, and more.

What say you?

Love to hear all thoughts on this and any personal experiences.

Thanks!

If you base it on his more expensive cards let's say I would estimate this around $8k-$10k.

Wow thanks for pulling that info. I did a search myself, but I must have been using wrong keywords or spelled something wrong as it didnt bring back results like that. I appreciate it! So you think I'm looking at ~$7,500 or so as a minimum? He's done a lot better in Single A since mid May and has a lot of rumblings going on in the marketplace right now. What do you think?

Wow, nice pull!

I guess it's the old man in me, but I had no idea that A-ball players could have cards worth that kind of money.

Crazy, huh? HOF rookie cards from the 80s/90s go for less than $10 yet prospects today command the price of a used car.

True dat. I have never paid more than $6000 for any car I've ever owned. But that's just me, I'm not really a car guy.

This kid seems like a pretty good prospect. But whoever buys it is just gambling that he'll be the next Trout or Judge. Maybe he will, but most likely he'll just be a decent player. We'll see!

Heck of a pull though. Wish I had a card to sell that could command $8K or whatever. Guessing my most expensive Alomar card might fetch $1000 at best.

FWIW, I'd have that on the market as quick as I could. The novelty is there with the inscription, but it's no more rare than the Superfractor (or whatever other 1/1s Topnatics is printing these days). Peak value at this point.

Organizationally the Dodgers haven't developed a stud OF since Bellinger. Baez, Outman, Vargas, have been serviceable, but not stars. As an LA fan, of love this kid to buck that trend.

Odds are very great it will dive hard in value. Sell it as soon as you can and this is coming from a collector of Dodger autographs! I almost considered selling my O. Cruz and J. Outman Dodger Bowman autos when they were demanding stupid prices, but being the diehard Dodger auto collector, I couldn't and now they are worth fractions of what they were selling for. They should never have been that high to begin with, but that is the crazy world of prospect autographs we unfortunately live in now. He is one I'll either have to grab some off brand card of or wait until he tanks too.

Don't bother with grading it. Just sell it. A Ball kids are all hype. It could be half its value next week.

Exactly. Let the buyer do the grading, if they’d like.

Also, no disrespect to Alex Gordon or Billy Butler, but when their 1st Bowman /Bowman Chrome cards were released, that’s all you heard about. Now? You can get them at a down-to-earth price (outside of the Alex Gordon RC “error” card that Topps created).
