Was supposed to be at the start of a two and a half week vacation, but a colleague called in sick so I am at work.

16 degrees here . refilled coffee . The talker of family stopped by [oldest daughter ] So I get on computer . My home half way to where she works .

Cold here too. Bigger problem is the drifting on the roads. Some spots are barely passable while others are bone dry on roads. A coupla years ago a snowmobiler died after hitting a snow fence that prevents drifting and now all the land owners are so afraid of it they don't put up snow fences any more. Makes some parts of the main roads really bad...

I haven't seen any drifting snow in many years. Remember the snow fences I would see going to my Grandma's in the country.
