Morning all! Home with a sick kid today. Now I get to watch the Twins lose at home on my couch instead of at my desk at work. Another fire broke out early this morning out here in Western Nebraska. This one's much closer than the others. Supposedly the road out of town is closed 1 mile out due to the fire. A couple of small towns have already been evacuated with some country homes being burned already

Yay ! I finally finished my 1971 baseball set in near mint condition ! It only took me 4 years using Ebay and an online dealers The Batters Box and Gar Miller Cards. I might have finished sooner if I had gone to a few card show. I haven't been to one in about 20 years. My first time using Gar Miller, he sent me the cards before having me pay. He said keep the cards I like and send the payment after. I finished my 1975 and 1978 baseball sets last year. I trade cards on Old Baseball Card and Vintage trader forums. But haven't done much with being in and out of the hospital every few weeks with my screwed up bowels. I've been working on about 12 - 15 other baseball set and a 1975 - 1976 Topps Hockey set and one set I know I'll never finish mostly because of the cost of some of the cards in the set for a 1938 Horrors of War in good to very good condition. There are 3 cards with that insane little corporal h!tler. Those cards in any condition usually go for big $. I have hundreds of Topps baseball cards for trade in all conditions from the 50's through the early 80's if anyone is interested in a trade.
