Will they still be playing?SAD to say CRAWDADS season over due to massive clubhouse fire . Loss of player items and that was computer files etc was kept . Lucky we had rain recent and no wind or this would have been horrible . Lots of forest and a very large Pepsi plant looks over stadium . After about twenty years selling there you plan on future income . That's 1000's a season . OUCH
well done. good morning.Good morning all.
milk jug of pennies about $45.00 face value LOLI stopped at a convenience store about 15 miles from me to pick up a newspaper and a snack this morning. It all came to $10.06. I gave the kid $11.00. He says do you want your change back ? I said what ? He repeated it again. Do I want my change back. I said yeah. I gave you $11.00. I want my change back.
Everything has gone up in price these days. And now there's what people call shrinkflation. You pay more and get less in a package of snacks or food. And on top of things. A lot of stores don't give you any pennies back in change. They will round the change up or down to a whole 5 or 10 cent value usually in their favor. Yeah, the treasury stopped making pennies last year. That doesn't mean the billions of them disappeared.
End of babble.
Maybe next season you can come here --I should have FREE tickets .Players normally sign items =free . I like Greenville but parking is xxxx.I've never been to a minor league baseball game before. The AAA Red Sox have a $157 million stadium here in the city. That the city paid for. John W. Henry, the owner of the Boston Red Sox did own the Worcester Red Sox team. But left the city holding the bag for the debt. And I'm not going to pay $23.00 to $60.00 to go to see a AAA team play.
word was some computer equipment lost ---when I can get info OFF area I will try to post . many employees this as been only job for years. GREAT crew even the temps are good . Unloaded van anyway =need to rotate / inventory /restock displays IF reopen . I just counted 3200 count boxes = 300 -had a lot more few years ago in building . Note boxes are by team and each box in alpha order. In past years to present about 50,000 to REc's / elementary schools and stadium FREE [ junk commons most ] .At space prices 2 /5 /10 ==rare any higher since I cater to kids . Some dads bring their children and say I sold to them when young . Only other stadium I would love to try is Greenville -Red Sox ---great fans /been few games . I was looking into Rome Ga but my last cousin just passed = no kin left in Alabama . At age 74 this is fun . Last G/kids 10 others have careers . Son plays baseball sandlot in Durham age 31 almost youngest on team LOL OLd Bull Durham stadium.I was reading about the Crawdads fire earlier and everything I see just says yesterday’s and today’s games have been canceled. Hopefully they will find a way to salvage other home games.
Thanks Barry. But I have too many medical issues to deal with to go very far from home.Maybe next season you can come here --I should have FREE tickets .Players normally sign items =free . I like Greenville but parking is xxxx.
