    imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. the mets don't compete with the yanks...they play in different leagues and therefore try and put a team together that will win their division and league which may not happen any time soon but not from lack of spending

    400 HRs for a Catcher and longevity is a big deal with this position certainly. Position difficulty means a lot in terms of stats....catchers get beat up, shortstops captain the infield, centerfielders are most often the best outfielders on their respective team...I have a friend who does not...
